Behind the ink
Mita Vora grew up in Mumbai, where she trained in interior design at Nirmala Niketan College before turning fully toward painting in 2014. Since then her practice has stayed close to one subject: the tiger, drawn again and again in monochrome ink. Colour is rationed — most of each piece stays black and white, with warmth allowed only at the eyes.
